LORENZ today announced that it has received an overwhelmingly positive feedback at the Annual DIA in San Diego, California, for its docuBridge V user interface and technology.

Amongst the many positive comments, Microsoft has also shown an interest on how their newest technologies have been implemented, specifically the Windows Presentation Foundation. LORENZ has implemented a host of new technologies that run within the Microsoft .NET framework, and is likely to remain the only system vendor in this space to have this for some time. In a blog (please see: http://blogs.msdn.com/lifesciences/) blogger Les Jordan, Life Sciences Industry Technology Strategist with Microsoft Corporation, specifically highlights the usability using this technology and thus the lower expected training costs through a more intuitive design.

"Many believe .NET is the new technology," says Akira Yamaguchi, VP Product Development and Product Marketing. "However, .NET is not new. Microsoft has, however, developed a set of new and cutting-edge
technologies within this framework that we are utilizing to improve the overall docuBridge experience. The combined implementation of WPF [Windows Presentation Framework], WCF [Windows Communication Foundation] and WF [Windows Workflow Foundation] in one application is quite unique within the eSubmission world."
LORENZ docuBridge V will be released this fall and is a complete redevelopment of its highly successful docuBridge 3.x generation. It takes into account all of the experiences gained in submitting more eCTDs than any other comparable system globally on the market. |
