LORENZ reports today that it has participated at the third Inter-Agency docuBridge User Group meeting (IAdUG) held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on July 30th and 31st. This regular meeting joins LORENZ' agency customers to discuss processes, strategies, as well as product specific technologies and functionalities.
"We have successfully completed the third IAdUG meeting in Canada, kindly hosted by Health Canada," says Wolfgang Witzel, President of LORENZ Life Sciences Group. "The meeting provides a platform to exchange views, regulatory processes and is also a discussion forum to conceptualize new product functionalities."
Although this user group meeting is restricted to regulatory agency customers only, many product ideas make their way into the main code base of LORENZ' product, as the same platform is shared by both LORENZ' industry as well as agency customers. As a result, all parties benefit.
The meeting also provides information on the status of electronic submissions at the various agencies, as well as information on some of the workflows being implemented at the agencies.
"It was interesting to note that many agencies are at a similar junction, and all have to deal with similar challenges in moving forward to a paperless world," noted Wolfgang Witzel. "These are challenges not just for the industry, but also for the regulatory agencies."
LORENZ has also shared some exclusive insight into the future vision of the company, and how this might benefit regulatory agencies.
LORENZ has over 150 installations at both industry and agencies in over 20 countries around the world.
